Position Purpose:
Manage and coordinate export operations for finished products, ensuring compliance with customs requirements, efficient logistics and on-time delivery commitments to the assigned markets. Act as the main point of contact between Market Companies, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders, helping to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across the Export processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage export operations for assigned markets, prioritization, documentation compliance, and shipment execution.
- Coordinate complete vehicle export processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and customer demands.
- Plan and monitor international shipments, managing bookings, logistics timelines, and delivery performance.
- Support the commercial area, Market Companies, customers, customs brokers and logistics providers to ensure efficient operations.
- Act as the key user and specialist for Export Trade systems, supporting users, coordinating system tests, and driving process and system improvements.
- Support compliance activities, internal and external audits.
- Monitor export-related expenses and support budgeting and cost control activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing operational efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
Technical Competencies
- Export and Import Operations.
- Customs Regulations and International Trade Compliance.
- Export Documentation and Customs Processes.
- Audit and Compliance Programs.
- Import & Export Systems and Tools.
- Knowledge of truck and bus business operations is a plus.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Administration, International Relations, Logistics, Economics, or a related field.
Experience
- Experience in Export and/or Import Operations.
- Knowledge of international logistics and customs processes.
- Experience working with customers, Market Companies, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers.
- Experience in the automotive industry, particularly with vehicle operations, is considered an advantage.
Languages
- Advanced English.
- Advanced Spanish.
