What you will do:
• Manage product configurations on software, meeting the unique requirements for a diverse product line.
• Leading the integration and verification processes with product owners for in-house software development and bridging with component owners for supplier developed software.
• Quality gatekeeper on the release content and delivery notes for every release.
• Create and maintain the software delivery plan through continuous communication with our stakeholders
• Assess regulatory impacts for software deliveries along the development life cycle. Includes supplier software too.
• Secure software and hardware compatibility.
• Ensure commonality between product configurations and thereby optimize the software variants delivered
Your future team:
As part of an Agile Team, you´ll be immersed in a dynamic work environment, delivering Embedded SW solutions for Volvo Transport Systems.
Your main interfaces will be Electronics and SW Development Engineers from sites from all over the world, such as Sweden, France, India... in daily iteractions and occasional trips!

In this role, you will bring, relevant Experience:
- Applicants shall have Engineering degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Systems, or similar.
- Embedded systems – Good understanding for basic HW components (ECU’s, sensors, actuators and wiring harnesses and SW design (basic SW architecture, communication protocols, diagnostics).
- Fluent proeficiency level of English, both written and spoken;
- Excellent communication skills and thrive in cooperation with others.
- Truck knowledge – Understanding how different systems in a truck interacts and work together.
- SW knowledge – Knowing the basic principles and processes for how SW is developed, integrated, verified and deployed.
- Project management – Good skills in leadership, planning, communication and stakeholder management.
Meritorious to have:
- International and multi-cultural experience with a global organization;
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, power BI and requirement tools;
