What you will do:
At Volvo Group you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. You will lead the daily transport coordination to secure safe, compliant, and cost-efficient flows across inbound and outbound operations, ensuring stable service performance and delivery precision.
You will oversee planning, execution, and follow-up of transport activities, proactively manage deviations, and drive structured problem solving with internal stakeholders and logistics service providers.
You will own the performance agenda through clear KPIs, daily management routines, and data-driven improvements focused on lead time, cost, and quality.
You will also act as a supplier manager for the carrier and logistics service provider base, supporting supplier selection input, onboarding, performance reviews, corrective action follow-up, and continuous improvement, while building strong partnerships and setting clear expectations.
In addition, you will contribute as a risk manager by identifying and assessing transport and supplier-related risks, maintaining mitigation plans and business continuity routines, and coordinating readiness for disruptions such as capacity constraints, strikes, severe weather, or route restrictions.
You will coach and support coordinators in priorities and decision making, and collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Purchasing, and Quality to secure compliant operations and drive sustainable results.

Essential requirements:
- Experience in transport coordination, logistics operations, or supply chain execution
- Proven ability to manage daily flows, deviations, and service performance with clear KPIs
- Experience working with suppliers or logistics service providers, including performance follow-up
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to drive corrective actions cross-functionally
- Proficiency in English
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with Lean principles and structured continuous improvement
- Exposure to risk management, business continuity planning, or disruption management in logistics
- Knowledge of international transport flows
