At Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE), we are building a new global digital marketing team withing the Brand, Marketing and Communication function to support the next phase of our digital transformation journey. 

 

We are now looking for a Digital Growth & Discoverability Lead – a strategic role focused on how customers find, evaluate and engage with Volvo CE across digital touchpoints. 

 

You will lead the development of global capabilities within SEO, AI-driven search, SEM, and social media, shaping how Volvo CE shows up in an increasingly digital and AI-driven world. 

What you will do

As a Digital Growth & Discoverability Lead, you will define and drive Volvo CE’s global discoverability and social media strategy across digital channels and platforms. 

 

You will ensure customers can easily find relevant Volvo CE solutions and content through search engines, AI-driven discovery experiences, social media channels, digital campaigns and web experiences. 

 

You will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders as well as agencies and external partners. This is a strategic role focused on building scalable capabilities and ways of working that support global consistency while enabling regional activation. 

 

 

Key responsibilities 

  • Define and evolve the global discoverability and SEO strategy 
  • Build keyword and search architecture across products, industries and services 
  • Drive Volvo CE’s approach to AI search and future digital discovery 
  • Define SEM and paid media frameworks and governance 
  • Own and evolve Volvo CE’s global social media strategy and governance model 
  • Define social media channel roles and governance principles  
  • Analyze search trends, digital performance and growth opportunities 
  • Support scalable global ways of working and best practice adoption

You combine analytical thinking with creativity and understand how customers search, evaluate, and engage digitally before making decisions. 

 

You enjoy working cross-functionally, influencing stakeholders, and building scalable capabilities in a global organization. 

 

You are comfortable navigating change, exploring emerging technologies and challenging traditional ways of working. 

  

Key Skills & Qualifications 

  • Strong experience within SEO, discoverability and digital growth 
  • Experience with social media strategy, governance and activation 
  • Experience with SEM, paid media and digital analytics 
  • Understanding of AI search and future digital discovery trends 
  • Experience working with enterprise websites and digital ecosystems 
  • Experience building frameworks and governance in global organizations 
  • Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills 
  • Experience working cross-functionally with agencies and internal stakeholders 
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field 
  • Excellent English communication skills
