What you will do
The Regional Sales Manager – Volvo Bus (WA) is responsible for driving profitable bus and coach sales growth across Western Australia through the development of strategic customer relationships, identification of market opportunities and delivery of Volvo Bus sales and market share objectives.
The role works closely with customers, body builders, dealers and internal stakeholders to position Volvo Bus as the preferred supplier through a strong customer focus, premium value proposition and delivery of integrated transport solutions aligned to customer operational requirements.
Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Analyse customer operational and commercial requirements to develop tailored vehicle and transport solutions, including the broader Volvo Bus total offer
- Manage the full sales cycle in accordance with Volvo Bus Australia’s sales processes, including opportunity management, quotations, negotiations, tender support and customer delivery coordination
- Maintain accurate and current customer, pipeline and market information within CRM systems to support forecasting, sales planning and business insights
- Develop and implement strategic approaches for conquest opportunities and targeted account growth across the WA market
- Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activity, pricing movements and lost sales to support business planning and market responsiveness
- Collaborate with sales, marketing and operational teams to support customer activities, product launches, events, media opportunities and market engagement initiatives.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be part of a team of 4 Regional Sales Managers, covering QLD and NSW. Your team will form part of the great Volvo Bus Australia team of 22, who are geographically dispersed across Australia.
Who are you?
We believe that your behaviours and personal attributes are just as important as your technical skills, so ideally you will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Commerce or related discipline (or equivalent relevant industry experience)
- Proven success working in a sales, account management or business development role in the automotive or transport industry
- The ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships and deliver profitable sales growth
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities, manage negotiations and support premium value-based selling
- Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Self-motivated and capable of managing a regional territory with a high degree of autonomy.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools
- Willingness to undertake regular travel across Western Australia.
