Head of Finance Hallsberg

As Head of Finance Hallsberg, you will manage and develop the site’s Finance team and take full responsibility for the financial agenda of our operations.

This is a senior role in which you will act as a trusted business partner to the site organization. Combining strong financial expertise with a deep understanding of manufacturing, you will provide insights that support both strategic direction and operational priorities.

You will play a key role in driving profitability and business performance through financial planning, forecasting, cost management, investment analysis, business cases and structured performance management. You and your team will support the site’s strategy deployment and continuous improvement journey, ensuring that financial objectives and operational priorities are connected throughout the organization. Financial insights will be an important enabler for productivity, cost competitiveness, efficient resource utilization and sound investment decisions.

Who are you?

We are looking for a business- and people-focused finance colleague with a passion for manufacturing, performance improvement and sustainable value creation.

You understand how financial performance is created in daily operations and how Finance can help turn strategy into measurable results. You are comfortable moving between strategic perspectives and operational details, partnering with senior leaders while remaining close to the business and the shop floor.

You build trust through financial expertise, sound judgement and integrity. You communicate complex financial matters in a clear and accessible way and contribute perspectives that help the organization make informed decisions and continuously improve.

As Head of Finance, you create clarity, engagement and shared accountability. You enjoy developing people, strengthening team capabilities and building an inclusive environment where different perspectives contribute to better collaboration and stronger results.

Beyond the local site responsibility, you will be an active contributor to Volvo CE's global Finance network. Through close collaboration with Finance colleagues and business leaders across regions and functions, you will help drive common priorities, exchange knowledge and contribute to the continued development of our Finance organization

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

  • A university degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent
  • Relevant experience from finance, controlling or business-partnering roles, including experience working in complex business environments.
  • Experience of leading people, including a demonstrated ability to develop individuals and teams
  • Experience of manufacturing, industrial operations or a similarly complex business environment
  • Solid competence in financial planning, forecasting, costing, investment analysis and performance management
  • A good understanding of operational drivers, profitability and value creation
  • Experience from Lean, operational excellence, strategy deployment or continuous improvement
  • The ability to influence and support decision-making at senior management level
  • The ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively in a global, matrix organization, creating value through networks and cross-functional partnerships
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

You will work at the intersection of Finance, Operations and people leadership, supporting commitments that strengthen profitability, operational performance and sustainable development.

You will become part of a global organization with strong opportunities for professional and personal growth, while remaining close to the daily operations where results are created.
