HGV Technician

Do you hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and have previous experience working on HGV’s or have you completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry?
As part of our team at Volvo you will work a 39 hours per week, with a competitive pay rate of up to £20 per hour with overtime, quarterly bonus and fantastic earning potential

We are looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join our Aberdeen dayshift where hours are Monday – Thursday 7.30 am to 4pm with an early finish on a Friday.
What you will do
The Role – some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Carry out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures, safely and responsibly
- Assist in the fault diagnosis process
- Service Customer Vehicles and complete service sheets.
- Road test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV license)
- Assist with roadside breakdowns.
- Process all relevant paperwork relating to jobs accurately
- Ensure all vehicle defects are reported
- Keep all workshop facilities, equipment, and tools clean, tidy and well maintained
- Help us in supporting the development of trainees and apprentices
