As a Truck Sales Executive, your primary responsibility will be to sell the diverse lineup of Volvo Trucks, demonstrating their unmatched quality and performance to potential clients. You will play a pivotal role in establishing and nurturing customer relationships, meeting and exceeding sales targets, and collaborating with various teams across the business.  

 

 

 

Your role will involve:

  • To sell the complete range of Volvo Trucks, products and services in line with the Total Solutions Strategy exceeding the levels detailed in the regional business plan for the defined selling area. 
  • Managing and growing a customer base to achieve sales targets through strategic sales and marketing efforts, regular customer reviews and proactive measures. 
  • Ability to adapt or amend strategy depending on market conditions and changes to Volvo product and services. 
  • Contribute to the region's requirements to proactively manage cost and credit control in order to maximise the opportunity to grow profit.

About You:

  • A full UK Driving Licence is essential.
  • Residing within the commutable distance to Aberdeen patch is preferred but not essential
  • A results-oriented mindset, coupled with an appetite for embracing new challenges.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication across all levels of a business.
  • The ability to generate leads, build a robust sales pipeline, and engage in accurate prospecting and new business development.
  • A keen customer focus, complemented by the capability to set and uphold meticulous priorities.
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities, maintaining high standards of accuracy and customer relations amidst a busy workload.
  • Strong grasp of contractual negotiations and constructing detailed contractual agreements.
  • Comprehensive understanding of business asset financing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs.
