Purpose/Description
This position will lead and participate in activities that fall within the scope of all Warehouse activities, including but not limited to, Shipping, Receiving and Inventory Management. The ideal candidate should have a history of growth and development in previous positions.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates work assignments in coordination with the Warehouse Manager
- Guides the Warehouse Associates within their designated area on work instructions
- Actively participates in the completion of Warehouse duties
- Maintains all documents related to their designated area utilizing Microsoft, DEX in-house and Mack/Volvo proprietary software
- Ensures that assigned tasks are completed and meet QC requirements
- Assists in the location, pulling, packaging, shipping, inventorying, inbounding and out bounding of material
- Works with leads from other departments on cross functional activities
- Assists in the training of new personnel
- Assists in troubleshooting problems within their designated area
- Assists in maintaining safety operations in the Warehouse
- Trains employees within their area
- Cross-trained to work in all areas of the Warehouse
- Supports all other DEX activities as needed

Physical Requirements
- Required to stand, reach, walk, and use hands to operate tools/controls
- Required to sit, balance and crouch
- Required to be able to lift 50lbs
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree and 2-3 years of relevant Warehouse leadership experience or 5+ years of Warehouse experience with leadership responsibilities
- Ability to obtain in-house forklift certification
- Advanced knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Proven ability to communicate effectively vertically and horizontally
