This is an on-site role, located in Mississauga.
This role coordinates with dealers to ensure security documentation and renewals are accurate and complete. You will be responsible for processing daily dealer and OEM funding, payment and collections, monitoring and updating dealer insurance policies, conducting collection activities, and performing telematic audits. This role reports to the Director, Credit & Risk.
What You Will Do
- Ensure that defined operational turnaround protocols for dealer funding, payment application, document preparation, and other tasks are obtained.
- Process all wholesale funding and payment requests, both timely and accurately, investigate and resolve billing and contract issues, and respond in a timely manner to dealer inquiries.
- Perform remote audits by analyzing the underlying internal data and records, including telematics data, internal dashboards/reports, and IT systems.
- Track audit performance and reporting of discrepancies, including the preparation of detailed audit summaries highlighting potential problems/issues at a dealership.
- Ensure VFS security perfection with respect to PPSA/RDPRM, PMSI, etc., inter-creditor agreements, as well as other security perfection documentation.
- Collection of monthly charges and payments.
- Completion of various security perfection searches, including PPSA, Bank Act, Hypothec/PQ Civil Code, and all other applicable searches / renewals / new filings.
- Work with accounting to reconcile any GL issues related to wholesale.
- Ensure contracts are correctly set up in WFS accurately and efficiently.
- Support in preparation of dealer loan documentation (new & renewal), ensure all documents are complete and executed correctly and returned by the dealer.
- Ensure that dealer insurance policies covering floor plan and lease line are renewed without delay and meet all VFS requirements.
- Assist with dealer affiliated lease line audits through analysis of leasing businesses and associated documentation.
- Provide New Employee Training & Internal Employee cross-training.
- Have expertise in knowledge of operational, audit, reporting, and testing within WFS
- Comply with any local regulatory requirements as well as Volvo Group and VFS internal requirements.
- Performs other duties and special projects as required by the business.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in a captive finance or similar environment.
- 3 + years of experience in wholesale, floor plan, leasing, or financial services related activities.
- Bilingual (English/French) capability is a strong asset.
- Experience in wholesale documentation requirements and security perfection.
- Basic understanding of financial analysis including balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, projection analysis, and financial statement spreading preferred.
- Demonstrated technology and MS Office skills, including Excel (data extraction, analysis) and Power BI.
- Strong people skills, supported by strong written & verbal communication skills.
- High integrity and customer focus.
- Skilled in resolving payment and information issues.
- Experience in analyzing data, identifying issues, and applying sound judgment to solve complex problems.
- Committed to process improvement and operational excellence.
- Effective collaboration skills in a professional environment.
- WFS, collections and inventory audit experience is a plus.
