Job Summary:
 

The EE System Design Engineer is responsible for developing, designing, and implementing electrical and electronic systems for automotive applications, with a focus on integrating functional and non-functional capabilities. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of EE systems, adherence to industry standards, and optimising performance of electronic systems.

You will work closely together with colleagues in an open-minded and creative environment, where you lead and support the way forward for early estimation of system solution complexity, scalability, evolvability and other system attributes. Your work will include analysis and proposing system level concepts, as well getting approval in relevant forums to further development. You will work in an Agile setup with the culture of empowering people to grow and having the trust and courage to act.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop electrical and electronic systems for automotive applications, considering safety, reliability, and performance.

2. Integrate functional safety, cybersecurity measures into the EE systems, ensuring protection against cyber threats and comply with industry and safety standards.

3. Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure the integration of EE systems into the overall vehicle architecture.

4. Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate different design options, considering functional and non-functional requirements.

5. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, of the approved concepts agreed for system implementation.

6. Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise to support the development of innovative and secure solutions.

 

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's/Master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.

2. Proven experience in automotive EE system design.

3. Understanding automotive communication protocols, familiarity with AUTOSAR architecture, and understanding of cybersecurity principles.

4. Understanding of safety-critical systems, ISO 26262, and other relevant automotive standards.

5. Good understanding of the EE system of a vehicle, architectural principles, and strategies.

6. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

7. Effective communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams, and stakeholders.
