What You Will Do
Volvo Financial Services (VFS) is seeking a Business Analyst. You will report to the Senior Manager- Finance / CFO , VFS India. You will be a key member of the VFS India finance team and will be based at Bengaluru.
The Business Analyst, significantly contribute to the Finance function in analysis and control of key financial and planning areas of the business e..g budgeting and forecast, business plan, product pricing , profitability analysis, Dealer and business dashboard, support in preparing, audit and reporting of financial statements to HQ and other stakeholders, expense control and optimization , and also producing various dash boards and analysis to support senior leadership team to make informed decisions, within VFS India. (“VFSI”).
You will work with the business closely to manage the development and execution of business plans, focusing on achieving sales and profitability targets while ensuring seamless strategic integration between VFS and the respective Business Areas (BAs).

Ready for the next move?
• Analyse monthly financial results and reporting the same to various stakeholders with variance analysis.
• Support the development of monthly reporting package for VFS India & ensure Monthly VGCS Reporting done accurately and timely.
• Facilitate periodic short/long term forecasts and business plan
• Support the GL accounting and recon of Retail & Wholesale business
• Responsible for day-to-day pricing approval and deal profitability tracking
• Manage and run Credit guarantee insurance program with business and external vendor.
• Support with dealer and DSE incentive plans, targets, and payouts for Sales, etc.
• Perform ad hoc data mining and reporting duties in accordance to business needs.
• Prepare and Review BRS, GL reconciliation and working with relevant teams to optimise.
• Preparation and finalisation of risk reserve models to ascertain the risk cost/Loss giving default.
• Support the CFO and finance team for other adhoc assigned tasks and presentations
• Drive automation across the Accounting & Reporting processes
• Be a true business partner for all functions within the financial services business
• Develop PBI and other reports for in-depth analysis of operational results for various functions
• Closely liaison with all business team and MD for various reporting requirements, analytical reasoning and analysis of data and prepare various reports as per the needs.
• Liaise with IT and Business Owners to coordinate and manage multiple complex data sources and deliver BI tools to support the business using standardized methodologies, definitions and processes.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and presentations for financial and operational management reviews
• Any other tasks as may be assigned from time to time
Education & Professional Experience:
• CA / MBA / Master’s Degree in Finance with good knowledge of PBI and IT tools.
Competencies & Skills:
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in finance & accounts, including exposure to financial analysis and modelling. NBFC/Bank experience preferred,
• Proficient with MS Office skills, especially PowerPoint, Excel
• Demonstrate competency in understanding complexity of interfaces with multiple database sources with ability to perform data validation challenges under time constrained environment
• Results oriented with strong integrity and honesty
• Team player, able to develop relationships and effectively communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management.
• Additional exposure of developing dash boards in PBI, QlikView, Qlik Sense or Tableau have an advantage
• Proficient spoken and written English
