What you will do
As Chapter Lead MS Dynamics you are a technically skilled domain expert with the additional responsibility as line manager. You will contribute to common ways of working across other MS Dynamics Chapters through methods and best practices according to standards, technologies, and trends. Your main responsibility will be to act as a Tech lead in one of the Stable teams while managing a team of MS Dynamics Solution and technology Consultants at your location.
We are seeking a highly experienced MS Dynamics professional to serve as both a Technical Lead and MS Dynamics CoE Leader. This role combines deep technical architecture expertise with governance and strategic leadership, ensuring MS Dynamics is adopted effectively, securely, and at scale across the enterprise.
You will work closely with stakeholders across the Volvo Group to be in line with changing business needs. You will create the right environment for your team members to develop competencies and skills, coach people, fostering an outside-in view and leveraging the network across the group.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solutions across Customer Engagement modules.
- Define and communicate the technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and best practices.
- Drive solution architecture decisions, balancing new feature delivery with technical debt management.
- Conduct feasibility assessments, evaluating risks, constraints, and team capabilities to ensure realistic delivery.
- Guide teams in building solutions using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse) and Azure services (Service Bus, Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Data Factory, Azure DevOps).
- Ensure quality, security, scalability, and performance optimization across all implementations.
- Oversee integrations, data migration strategies, and cloud-native extensions for Dynamics 365.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and code/architecture reviews to ensure high engineering standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business priorities.
MS Dynamics Chapter Leadership
- Actively contribute in MS Dynamics Center of Excellence (CoE) as the authority for governance, quality, and innovation.
- Build and execute the MS Dynamics strategy and roadmap, aligned with enterprise digital transformation.
- Define and enforce Golden Path standards, Quality by Design, and best practices for development, integration, and operations.
- Coordinate MS Dynamics licensing strategy and optimization across business units.
- Evaluate and introduce new MS Dynamics features, AppExchange apps, and industry accelerators.
- Facilitate knowledge-sharing, training, and capability building across teams and stakeholders.
- Lead, develop and attract a team of talented MS Dynamics Solution and Technology consultants, supporting their personal growth and challenges on assignments
- Develop and execute the competence strategy for MS Dynamics Solution and Technology consultants, within your team, meeting with chapter members to discuss and drive excellence in areas such as best practices, frameworks and tools
- Manage capacity planning, ensuring short and long-term competence and capacity of the MS Dynamics technology & Solution Consultant
- Be involved in day-to-day working in delivery or product teams or contributing to an assignment and also act as a Tech Lead for the Stable Team , basically a go to person for all the technical roadmap of the product.
- Own and Manage work packages along with employees and consultants
- Play an active role in building and driving an active MS Dynamics Community of Practice
- Balance your time between line manager and team member

Required Skills & Experience
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of IT experience, including 7+ years in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solutioning and architecture.
- Strong expertise in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement modules (Sales, Service, Marketing, Customer Insights).
- Hands-on experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse).
- Proven experience with Azure services (Service Bus, Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Data Factory, Azure DevOps).
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, TypeScript, Plugins, Custom Connectors, and Web Resources.
- Strong knowledge of solution architecture, integrations, scalability, performance, and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills to guide teams and influence stakeholders.
- Preferred: Microsoft Certified Dynamics 365 + Power Platform Solution Architect Expert; experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD using Azure DevOps.
You will be part of the MS Dynamics Leadership Team and report to the Head of Platforms Chapter.

You need to have several years of experience as a MS Dynamics practitioner and be a technical expert in the MS Dynamics domain. That includes to be highly skilled in MS Dynamics , including related technologies and frameworks Demonstrated leadership qualities to coach people or a few years´ experience of leading people, preferably in the MS Dynamics Domain is also crucial. Working with agile methodologies comes naturally to you.
Other skills:
- Relevant MS Dynamics certifications based on experience but not mandatory
- Relevant University degree or similar
- Excellent proficiency in English is a requirement
- Previous experience in rolling out the MS Dynamics products.
- Infrastructure management and security awareness experience is good to have
