We are looking for experienced Data Management Tool Experts focusing on MDM to help us reform our DataGovernance & Management practice and support our business by providing experience, support and guidanceof tooling within this area. Our aim and your mission are to shape the strategic direction of the Volvo Group tobecome a data-driven company. In doing so, we will make quality-assured data available and stimulate itsreuse and value across the value chain, while remaining fully compliant with legal and policy requirements.You will be an important ally to every organization who wants to invest in change within our data journey.
What you will do
As a Data Management Tool Expert focusing on MDM in the Data Availability organization, you will bemanaging capabilities of Data Management Tool (Informatica IDMC) to support the full Volvo Group incollaboration different stakeholders and handle the technical maintenance & support of the same. This work istypically done for large, complex data topics as part of our roll-out initiatives and product teams. It is importantthat you bring broad knowledge and experience from working with Data Governance & Management topicsand data management tools and, ideally, automotive industry to provide solutions and recommendations thatwill improve data proficiency and long-lasting success in the business.
The ‘Data’ function is a large multicultural organization with 600+ employees and contractors located mainly in7 countries: Sweden, Poland, India, Belgium, Brazil, USA, and France.
You will be joining as a Data Manager in Bangalore (India).
Your Responsibilities Include
Perform technical maintenance & support of Informatica IDMC, focusing on IDMC 360 modules(B360/C360/R360/P360).
Manage IDMC services catalog and offer guidance on optimal service usage.
Collaborate with vendor product management team to prioritize deliveries meeting Volvo Group needs.
Serve as Single Point of Contact for functional aspects of Data Management Tool focusing on MDM area.
Manage Access Management policies for the Data Management Tool.
Plan, design, prepare, and conduct trainings.
Support MDM deliveries, product development and assist projects and prioritize deliveries as DataManagement platform team member.
Participate in user acceptance tests of new releases of MDM modules.
Ensure for the health of virtual machines and support platform activities in MS Azure.
Required skill set:
University degree, with a passion for data.
Hands-on experience with (preferably) Informatica IDMC 360 modules or (alternatively) Informatica on-prem.
In-depth knowledge of MDM modules of Informatica IDMC or other tools.
Basic understanding of MS Azure.
Expertise in Data Governance & Management.
Experience in agile setups, using DevOps or similar.
Ability to oversee implementation activities.
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
