Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Product Owner to lead and manage the Volvo SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) ecosystem supporting the SAP development and UI area. This role is responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of Fiori applications (Fiori Front End server and WorkZone), Development framework in SAP (BAS), SAP GUI rollout, and overall Volvo BTP administration. The ideal candidate will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, developers, and infrastructure teams to drive delivery, innovation, structure and governance in SAP-related programs.

I am member of the stable team (4 to 5 FTEs). My mission is to turn the product roadmap into working deliverables in my team backlog, aligned with the overall strategy and product vision.

My Key Responsibilities

• Clarify team purpose, strategy and business priorities.

• Manage the team backlog: Order and ensure that the backlog is visible, transparent, and understood

• Contribute on digital product roadmap, capacity planning, budget and financial follow up.

• Secure that the digital product is developed and maintained in compliance within given architecture, security requirements*, and digital product strategy until decommissioning is completed.

• Manage dependencies and collaborate with other teams and business partners, as needed.

• Secure that SLAs are established and fulfilled end to end for any solutions managed by the team.

• Secure that team regularly collects feedback on implemented work.

• Responsible for team and culture development to secure proper capacity and capability for its delivery.

Experience required in the following:

BTP Administration
    Ensure BTP administration with proper documentation, backlog management, and stakeholder education.
    Responsible to perform Volvo BTP service review with Architecture Team before enabling new BTP service activation. 
SAP Development (including AI)
    Oversee the SAP development environment, including Business Application Studio (BAS), Eclipse and GitHub integration.
    Experience with ABAP and Fiori development. 
    Drive Clean Core principles, RAP-based development, and host community awareness sessions.
    Enabling Microsoft AI co-pilot in IDE for SAP core and Extension development.
    Support the integration of AI assistants such as SAP Joule and Microsoft Copilot into product roadmaps to improve user experience, productivity, and decision-making.
    Ensure collaboration on Microsoft ARO development for non-SAP-based app developments.
UI
    Manage SAP WorkZone builds and align with the broader development roadmap.
    Manage Central Fiori Server patching activities, including bi-annual NetWeaver and UI5 library updates.
    Oversee DaST scanning processes and web dispatcher configuration and maintenance.
    Coordinate Embedded Fiori support for ad hoc app activations and setup.
    Lead initiatives to enable and support Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
    Act as SME for Fiori development for TD/BAs.
SAP GUI 
    Plan and execute the rollout of SAP GUI new version across Volvo PC’s. 
    Maintain SAP Logon XML files and manage the SAP Logon Updater.
    Coordinate SAP LU Portal operations and perform server and database maintenance.
Quality and compliance
    Drive and coordinate Central ATC checks in preparation for S/4HANA conversion.
    Support ongoing quality initiatives and ensure alignment with cybersecurity and compliance standards.
Programs/Projects
    Provide active product ownership and cross-functional support for strategic programs in Fiori and BTP Development areas

Qualifications:

9 – 14 years of SAP experience, BTP and SAP development (ABAP, Fiori) experience required. (BAS, GitHub, Eclipse, and SAP .Net Connector).

Experience in Agile methodologies and product backlog management, able to have an ownership end to end of a product.

Strong understanding of SAP BTP, BAS and ABAP/ Fiori development. (CAPM, RAP, BAS, WorkZone).

Hands-on experience with AI assistants.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.

Knowledge of security practices such as DaST scanning and MFA enablement.

Understanding of S/4HANA conversion processes and clean core principles.
