Your new challenge

As a Digital Product Owner (DPO), you'll collaborate closely with digital product managers, engineers, UX designers, data analysts, and stakeholders to continuously enhance our products and user experience. You'll take ownership of the digital product build on the Salesforce platform, championing the product vision and turning the roadmap into deliverables that align with the overall strategy.

You have extensive knowledge about the Salesforce platform specifically Sales, Experience and Data Cloud. During your career you have successfully implemented and enhanced products built on Salesforce for several different companies. To succeed in this role, you should have a university degree or equivalent experience in leading functionally, preferably within IT management. Experience in digital product orientation, agile methodologies, and knowledge of IT trends is essential. You are a passionate believer in lifelong learning, energized by working both independently and collaboratively, with proven skills in cross-functional collaboration.

This is how you could make an impact

You take ownership of the digital product and as a champion of the product vision and your team, you will turn the roadmap into deliverables and secure the alignment with the overall strategy and product vision. You are a member of a stable team and are responsible for managing the team backlog prioritization and delivery.

 

You will lead one of the teams in the Customer Relationship Management delivery within the DDA Product Sales and will report to the Head of Customer Relationship Management. As DPO you will be working with a highly engaged and skilled team supporting stakeholders from all the Truck brands within Volvo Group. The teams are spread across India, China and Sweden. Besides daily management and enhancement of the tool, you will participate in, lead and drive the rollout on different markets and further product development of the product. Working closely with the Digital Product Managers and the Digital Product Area Owner, you will support and guide the team in their agile journey and transformation into a product team with a strong user focus.

Selected Responsibilities

  • Support the team in creating product specifications in the form of user stories with acceptance criteria.
  • Lead the product discovery process for assigned capabilities, collaborating with various experts.
  • Assist in organizing and prioritizing the product development backlog.
  • Champion the product vision with stakeholders and the stable team.
  • Ensure proper analytics, tracking, and data collection mechanisms are in place. 
  • Provide the necessary product support to the stable team as may be required to aid their delivery.
  • Work with other parts of the organization as needed to ensure expected outcomes are achieved and measured.
  • Own team development to secure the team long and short-term plans for proper capacity and competence. 
  • Continuously reviewing the live product to identify areas for improvement and any deviations from the expected experience.
  • Learning the market and customer needs through data and customer feedback.
