Position description:
As a Digital Product Owner for the Product Compliance area at Volvo Group, you will develop and maintain solutions managing Part & Chemical Compliance information, covering chemical composition, hazardous material data, and environmental/human safety for AB Volvo’s product compliance needs, including Volvo Construction Equipment's and Trucks.
Your role is to identify and define solutions that maximize stakeholder value. Working with stable teams, you will collaborate iteratively with developers and act as a role model to ensure customer satisfaction. Drive data-focused initiatives in this area to prepare the data platform on Unified Data Platform, liberate the data for building future data products/solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Create and manage the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company strategy and goals.
- Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to inform product decisions.
- Align the product roadmap with business needs and work with IT Architect to ensure Digital & IT architectural principles.
- Ensure the backlog is visible, transparent, and well understood by both the team and business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with IT and domain architects to develop a technical modernization roadmap addressing security vulnerabilities and mandatory upgrades.
- Own product security and quality and ensure fulfillment of product SLAs towards business stakeholders.
- Owen the data from IT perspective, maintain a proper data governance along with the business stakeholders.
- Maintain close collaboration and alignment with the Digital Product Manager (DPM) to align group & product vision.
- Define and prioritize product requirements and create user stories with the team.
- Participate in backlog refinement sessions to clarify stakeholder needs.
- Work closely with the Digital Product Area Owner (DPAO) and Scrum Master (SM) to enable team success.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Metallurgical, Mechanical, Chemical, Computer Science, or related fields).
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, preferably in the Automotive or Chemical sectors or related industries.
- Familiarity with Cloud platforms, PowerBI, AI awareness is preferable.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies including Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Scrum.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of security best practices.
- Experience with JIRA or similar project management tools is a plus.
- SAFe and Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) certifications are advantageous.
