Organization: Sales and Marketing – Region India

Function / Department: Product & Retail Development
- First line manager: Head of Channel Development

- Main objective of this role will be to build capability of distribution network and process development & utilization to meet business objectives
- Distribution capability includes optimum dealer network, dealer infrastructure and facilities
- Work with dealerships to build right management team and their succession plan & operation workforce as per recommendations
- To identify, develop and implement processes and operational efficiencies to continuously achieve excellence across Region India Dealer network in all functions.
Main Tasks/ Responsibilities / Authorities:

- Optimizing all Channels; selecting new markets to cover, and developing performance of our existing partnerships
- Dealership network planning and branding in association with Marcom team

- Competition distribution network mapping

- Responsible for implementation of various process projects including digital transformation initiatives across all Region India dealers as per agreed schedule and roll out plan
- Responsible for overall management of dealership processes across functions.
- Provide necessary expertise in the designing the necessary tools / methodologies for process development and execution
- Frequently collaborate and effectively interact with the variety of stakeholders such as functional peer group manager (Sales and Marcom, Parts & logistics, finance, IT ) involving matters between other sub functions
- Assist competence team to manage the interface with all developers/suppliers/vendors including multimedia course material including development of competence infrastructure at dealerships
- Process standardization
- DMS management
- Partner connect2.0 and Salesforce CRM development
- Development and approvals for Dealership Workshops for components and equipment Reman, Rebuild and Repurpose
Forums
External: Dealerships, vendors, supplier
Internal: Uptime & Parts team, Sales, D& IT, Marcom & Finance team
Required knowledge & experience:
1. Education/Professional Qualifications/Key skills required for the position:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
-
- Minimum of 10 years of dealer management experience in construction equipment industry
- A strong understanding of the industry and how a dealership operates
- Experience of conducting reviews and evaluation of processes
- Proven ability in project management – keeping several projects moving at once.
- Ability to identify and implement process efficiencies
- Ability to solve problems and deal with complexity
- Demonstrate ability to independently learn complex methodologies effectively
- Willingness to work on flexible hours and extensively travel
- Strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft office and usage of other digital tools
2. Additional Important Requirements:
Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present Information effectively to dealerships and management.
