We are pleased to launch the ExcelHer program – the career returnship program at Volvo Group in India. The program is for women who have been on a career break for a year or more. This is our step towards empowering women to relaunch their professional journey after their absence from the workplace due to personal commitments. Exciting work assignments have been identified which you can refer in the list below.

The assignments are for a tenure of 9 months. The participant of this program would have access to professional development programs, mentoring assistance by a business leader, apart from the experience of working with people from different functions/technologies/culture.

 

Location : Bangalore

 

Required Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent). 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Verification and Validation (V&V) within the Automotive domain. 1 year in model development/validation using tools like Simulink. 

  • Strong domain expertise in test and verification processes for automotive systems, with solid understanding of Electrical and Electronic (EE) systems. 

  • Experience in truck applications; prior knowledge of vehicle dynamics is a plus. 

  • Hands-on experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL), Software-in-the-Loop (SiL), or Model-in-the-Loop (MiL) environments (minimum 5 years). 

  • Proficiency with CANalyzer/CANoe, dSPACE tools, and version control systems. 

  • Experience in ECU testing, test automation, and software release management. 

  • Familiar with ASPICE, ISO 26262 (Functional Safety), and vehicle network protocols (CAN, J1939, LIN, Ethernet). 

  • Exposure to software verification tools, agile practices, continuous integration (Jenkins is a plus). 

  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal). 

  • Familiarity with test equipment and emerging testing methodologies.
