What you will do
You will work together with a team of multidisciplinary engineers to develop virtual methods for engine calibration across various stages of the development process, making it leaner, more efficient, and cost effective. You will be a vital part of Virtual Calibration on our journey towards Data driven Powertrain development and will partner with our global sites to provide remote calibration support. You will also contribute through simulations to identify root causes and provide sustainable long-term solutions for challenging field issues.

Who are you?
If you are a Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree holder in Mechanical/ Automobile/ Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering , have strong analytical skills and have gained a strong domain understanding in Powertrain Engineering then you can be a good fit into this role. Prior Experience in Virtual Calibration methods, automation and great understanding/fast interpretation of Software Function Logic would be a great plus.
•    Prior experience in engine calibration, understanding of heavy duty emissions legilislation, and OBD calibration.
•    Ability to deliver results as a collaborative team player with a proactive, can-do attitude.
•    Capability to handle and interpret large, multi-variable datasets from field trucks, test cells, and other engineering sources.
•    Working knowledge of MATLAB, Python, AVL Concerto, or similar data analysis tools.
•    Working knowledge of vehicle communication protocols such as CAN and LIN.
•    Willingness to learn continuously and take on increasing responsibility.
•    Ability to collaborate effectively with global experts in System Engineering and develop towards a comparable level of technical competence.
•    Strong analytical skills and solid domain understanding of Powertrain Engineering.
