What You Will Do
You will work in agile teams through good collaboration with our colleagues in development and design teams all around the world. You, along with the team, will be responsible for understanding customer usage and performance of our products and providing our solutions throughout the product life cycle—from idea investigation and concept evaluation to industrialization and to aftermarket and maintenance.
You get the opportunity to follow your virtual models from script to test cell to verification in a truck and eventually to being used by our end customers. The tasks can be either part of a larger project or short tasks to improve products currently in production. You will get the opportunity to interact with highly committed colleagues from different cultures.

We are working on conventional diesel and hydrogen combustion engines as well as fuel cell electric vehicle applications. You will get an opportunity to work on simulating novel and diverse technologies while working in a lively and inclusive team. Who Are You?
We believe that to be successful in this position, you are a team player, have strong experience in simulation engineering and analysis area, and a will to deliver. You must have a sound understanding of powertrain components, a proven proficiency in Matlab/Simulink/AVL Cruise/GT Drive or similar tools and must have used it in improving the efficiency of the Powertrain.
We must have fluency in English and good presentation and communication skills. You will be greatly appreciated in this role if you have demonstrated the usage of Matlab/Python for analysis of simulation data. Ability to work with Model Development in Simulink will be a bonus. Prior hands-on experience in engine/vehicle testing and understanding of feature validation processes would be an icing on the cake.
If you are a master’s degree holder in Mechanical/Automobile/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering with fantastic analytical skills, and have gained a strong domain understanding in Powertrain Engineering, then you can be a good fit into this role.

Qualifications and Requirements 
  
•    Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Graduate or Post-graduate 
•    Experience in developing and modifying Matlab scripts per requirement to improve outputs
•    Ability to use Matlab/Python to post process and visualize simulation results
•    Ability to modify and develop Simulink components to demonstrate virtual changes to powertrain components 
•    Exposure to GIT Bitbucket for version control
•    Good understanding of Powertrain technology, materials knowledge, awareness of powertrain parts and accessories. 
•    Strong commitment to deliver on time with consistent and strict adherence to quality.
