About the team:
CSETA Team is a group within Chassis Dept Vehicle Engineering of Group Trucks Technology in Bangalore. This team has the responsibilities to develop components and systems such as Chassis Structure, Battery Box & Transport Adaptation for different truck brands of Volvo Group.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Participate in design and development activities of Battery Box Module
- Handle quality tools during the development process.
- Cross functional requirement balancing and stake holder management.
- Review of time plan and update / reporting of progress.
- Solve virtual build issues.
- Document engineering drawings by way of release process.
- Support other engineers and learn in that process
Skills Required:
- Mandatory Skill Sets:
- Mechanical engineering design in automotive context
- Concept generation and development
- Basic awareness of functionality of Electrical components
- Knowledge of Wiring Harness routing will be a plus
- Fluency in English
- Secondary Skill Sets desired:
- FE simulation awareness
- Automation of repetitive tasks
- Planning and organizing self with focus on results
Education & Experience Required:
- B.E. / B.Tech. Mechanical / Automobile Engineering (equivalent)
- 3-5 years of exp in the automotive or other relevant mechanical domain.
- Required hands on experience of CAD Tools (Preference to Creo)
- Knowledge of MS Office tools: Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
