Job Description:

 

In the area of PWTi Technology, we are now looking for a Mechanical / Production /Automobile Engineer – contributing to the area of Coolant System installation on the vehicle.
 
As an experienced engineer working with the PWTi Technology, the main deliverables are:

 

  • Design of coolant lines (Diesel, CNG & BEV) and knowledge of installation for all major coolant components like radiator, fan shroud, water pumps, 3-way solenoid valves, heaters etc.
  • Knowledge of product design & development cycle (E2E or Concept to launch)
  • Design of sheet metal, pipes and hoses (plastic and EPDM)
  • Understanding of digital validation reports like CAE- Durability, CFD.
  • Work closely with suppliers for development of components.
  • Establish a strong network with global counterparts and cross functions.
  • In your work, there will be frequent topics to handle with Global XFs and Suppliers around the world. It is required to establish right participation & contribution to the Advanced engineering (AE), Product Strategy Roadmap (PSRs) and KM topics as well.

 

Qualifications and Skills: 

 

  • B.E/B.Tech /M.E/ M.Tech  – Mechanical/Automobile Engineering with relevant experience (2-8 Years)
  • Basic engineering knowledge and hands-on work experience coolant systems (Diesel, CNG & BEV).
  • Working experience in domain product design & development (EPDMs, sheet metals, pipes and PA lines)
  • Experience in heavy commercial vehicle industry will be an added advantage
  • Good knowledge of application of GD&T and 3D tools (Creo, Windchill)
  • Have holistic view on deliverables from other interfaces to secure quality & readiness before release.
  • Knowledge of coolant components packaging, routing & development.
  • Agile way of working knowledge will be an added advantage.
