Job Description


 
In the area of CSETA Technology, we are now looking for a Mechanical Engineer or Automobile Engineer– Chassis Equipment to contribute in the area of Fuel System.
 
As an experienced engineer working with the CSETA Technology, the main deliverables are:

 

  • Design of Fuel System (Diesel, CNG, LNG, Bio-Diesel) and its key components like Fuel tank, Mountings , Fuel Routing , Installation , Storage, level sensor etc
  • Knowledge of product design & development cycle (E2E or Concept to launch)
  • Design of Sheet metal and Casting Complex brackets
  • Understanding of Digital Validation reports like CAE- Durability, CFD
  • Work closely with supplier for development components.
  • Establish a Strong Network with Global Counterparts and Cross functions.
  • Strategize the More Responsibilities and Participation in the Global Projects.
  • In your work, there will be frequent topics to handle with Global XFs and Suppliers around the world. It is required to establish right participation & contribution to the Advanced engineering (AE), Product Strategy Roadmap (PSRs) and KM topics as well.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

 

 

  • B.E/B.Tech /M.E/ M.Tech  – Mechanical/Automobile Engineering with Relevant experience (4-8 Years)
  • Hands on work experience - fuel systems (Diesel, CNG, LNG, Biodiesel).
  • Working experience in the domain product design & development ( sheet metals , Casting, PA lines)
  • Experience in heavy commercial vehicle industry will be an added advantage
  • Good knowledge of application of GD&T and 3D Tools ( Creo )
  • Competence and exposure to Volvo Tools and Processes ( KOLA /PDM) will be an added advantage
  • Have holistic view on deliverables from other interfaces to secure quality & readiness before release.
  • Knowledge Chassis Equipment’s packaging, routing & development.
  • Agile way of working knowledge is an added advantage.
