Job Title: Experienced Analysis Engineer - Durability (Chassis Engineering Dept)
Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled simulation Engineer with expertise in durability analysis for trucks and buses. You will be part of the Advanced Calculations team in the Chassis engineering department. You need to have a strong background in automotive or mechanical engineering, specifically in machine design or CAD/CAM - CAE. You will be responsible for conducting simulations to assess the durability of chassis components, ensuring that components/vehicles will meet the requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform durability analysis for chassis components of trucks and buses using CAE tools.

Develop and validate simulation models to predict the performance and lifespan of chassis structures under various loading conditions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and testing, to ensure that simulation results are integrated into the product development process.

Analyse simulation data and provide insights to improve design and material selection for enhanced durability.

Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in simulation and durability analysis.
Qualifications:

Postgraduate degree in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Machine Design or CAD/CAM - CAE.

4 to 6 years of experience in an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) environment, specifically in strength & durability simulation.

Proficiency in CAE software tools (Nastran, Abaqus, ANSA, Hyper works, n code) for structural analysis.

Strong understanding of material properties and fatigue analysis.

Ability to perform independently and coordinate with design & testing colleagues.

Proficiency in Python or any other scripting language is a plus.
