What you will do
The BASC group’s role within the GTT Vehicle Engineering is to secure the telematics solutions are deployed on all truck brands in a quality assured way. This group will play a vital role for the GTT to effectively utilize the potential of Telematics linked solutions like Uptime Services, Fleet Management, Vehicle Tracking, Navigation etc.
Who are you?
- At least 6-10 years' experience in software development
- Skills: Python, DevOps, Docker, Jenkins administration (Jenkins configuration as code JCASC), Linux Server Administration
- Very good understanding of Continuous Integration and software tool chains
- Good knowledge of version control systems (GIT), monitoring tools like Grafana, elastic search
- Experience in test of embedded systems (unit testing, component testing, etc.); experience in test automation is a big advantage
- Agile processes (KANBAN, SCRUM), experience from agile product development using the SAFe framework
- Experience from automotive in the area of telematics
- Knowledge of CAN protocol and Canalyzer, CANOE, CAPL is plus
- Basic knowledge on Release management and Configuration management.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience in AGILE WOW
- Experienced at working in a global organization with cross functional interaction
