Experienced Engineer-Pneumatic & Electrical Installation

ROLE DESCRIPTION

• Design, Develop and implement pneumatic and wiring installation projects within the area of assignment, including related routing and clipping solutions along with documentation
• Communicate relevant design and project requirements to external design counterparts, as applicable, if the detailed design is performed by an outside entity.
• Ensure the correctness and completeness of all pneumatic and wiring installation releases within the area of responsibility.
• Have operational responsibility for the pneumatic and wiring installation in the layout.
• Drive the work from an operational perspective.
• Have the capacity to work individually or with a small team to actively secure the deliverables.
• Play an active role in the delivery process.
• Integrate deliveries from others and ensure quality and readiness before release.
• Ensure that deliveries are made according to requirements and timelines.
• Maintain frequent interactions with counterparts to clarify requirements and deliver accordingly.
• Provide periodic updates on the progress of tasks to the team leader and group manager.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

• BE/ BTech / M.Tech / MS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics

​EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, TRAINING

• Experience of product development, experience in the automotive industry, preferably in trucks development
• 4+ years of automotive experience preferably in the truck industry
• Experience in the installation area of electrical related components is a must
• Project management experience / Agile working experience is a merit
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Knowledge of complete Braking Systems and Pneumatics is highly preferred
• Knowledge of electrical components, terminologies is preferred

• Strong in engineering fundamentals
• Good knowledge in sheet-metal, welding & corrosion protection of components
• Knowledge of DFMEA/SFMEA and other quality tools
• Hands-on experience in CREO tool
• Knowledge of product development cycle (DVP).
• Knowledge of mechatronics system is a merit
