What you will do 

 

As a Experienced Project manager, you will

 

  • Drive project management for New Product Development and Product Modifications, ensuring delivery within defined scope, time, and budget
  • Continuously strive to meet customer feature expectations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across teams and locations to secure successful deliveries
  • Ensure overall QDCF of products is achieved, or obtain appropriate deviations/acceptance from the governance body
  • Identify key risks and establish mitigation plans and activities
  • Report project status and highlight relevant issues or deviations to project governance
  • Establish, maintain, and take responsibility for the project budget process
  • Communicate and cooperate with functional management
  • Capture and share knowledge for future use
  • Ensure Volvo Group’s Quality, Safety & Health, Environmental Policy, and Code of Conduct are implemented.

Who you are ?

 

Required education and experience

 

  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Engineering (Automotive, Mechanical)
  • Practical experience in project management, specifically in complete vehicle verification and validation
  • Knowledge and experience to fulfill QDCF requirements
  • Experience working with customer feature processes
  • Strong product knowledge
  • Proactive in expanding understanding of customer needs and business models
  • Effective collaborator across the organization, able to identify key stakeholders and ensure clear communication to engage teams
  • Open to feedback and able to make decisions with a strong sense of ownership
  • Demonstrated ability in project budgeting, planning, risk management, and ensuring quality in deliveries and products
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • PMP certification is considered an asset.
