You will be part of the Virtual Builds team in Complete Vehicle and work closely with the teams globally.

The content of the role can shortly be described as:


1. Analyze Virtually for the Physical Builds / Rigs /Rebuilds
2. Analyze the DMU for virtual builds, and secure support for effective physical builds.in Pilot Plant and Workshop
3. Virtual Analysis for Proto Builds, Rig Builds, Rebuilds.in Complete Vehicle.
4. Develop and maintain the Virtual Truck Fleet for Complete Vehicle Globally.
5. Enable and empower for the usage of Virtual Truck & Data for Digital transformation in Complete Vehicle.
6. Collaborate across sites & functions for best outcomes involving Digital Trucks Data.
7. Participate in Community of Practice, involving network of Global participants.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan & Secure Virtual build components / vehicles in line with the Physical truck build plan.
  • Understand and use the Vehicle Geometric / Vehicle Architecture tools & process for Quality Virtual Truck data.
  • Analysis for Assembly / Disassembly in the Virtual environment for the Digital Twin of Physical Truck. (CAD, Geometric Aspect only)
  • Prepare the Digital Truck based on the agreed spec using AVP/GVD with request from Complete Vehicle users.
  • work closely with the upstream engineering functions ( Vehicle Engineering/ CAST Team )
  • Maintain good baseline of spec (version controlled) for reference and traceability.
  • Frame holes analysis,
  • Missing components check,
  • Clash analysis,
  • Assist Product Build team to address BOM issues,
  • Collaborate with GTX teams for securing needed Quality in the Digital Truck Data (involving GTT Engineers, Digital & IT, GTO, GTP)
  • Take lead in training the Complete Vehicle users for various IT tools in enabling Digital Transformation.

 

Competence:

  • Interested in Truck Products and Parts (Physical, Virtual) involving Multi CAD tools,
  • Structured and Analytical.
  • Very good knowledge of Vehicle .
  • Expert in using of CAD in various IT environments and conversions there upon.
  • AVP/GVD, GWYN, Industrial Path Solutions, AR/VR etc.
  • Understanding of the Complete Vehicle working Landscape (FVV, PB, AMT, Q&CS)
  • Experience using KOLA, Engineering Database (EDB), PROTOM, 
  • Establish baseline and Develop solutions to maximize benefits using virtualization tools involving simulations.
  • Good networking skills and Continuous Improvement mindset to work with in Complete Vehicle sphere and cross functional teams.
  • Motivated and driving for results.


Practical experience:


At least 5+ years in Product Development or Product Documentation involving CAD / Virtual build tools. Self-driven and forward-looking Growth mindset.
Experience and curiosity for enabling Virtual Data for Real world situations within the Complete Vehicle sphere of usage involving data conversion, slicing, or creating lite CAD data to meet the situational needs.
