About NATS Apprenticeship Program:

National Apprenticeship Training Scheme, is a program where Volvo India engages freshly graduated individuals for year-long apprenticeships, providing them with practical training and skills development opportunities within the company’s various functions it's a way for Volvo to train future workforce members through a structured apprenticeship program.

  • Key Responsibilities
    Support development, integration, and validation activities for Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) platforms.
    Assist in testing and analysis of Diagnostics, DLT (Diagnostic Log and Trace), Time Synchronization, and S2S communication.
    Support Adaptive AUTOSAR software integration and validation activities.
    Assist in software deployment, installation, and verification activities.
    Analyze software logs and support root-cause investigations.
    Develop automation scripts and tools using Python.
    Utilize AI tools for support query resolution, software deployment troubleshooting, and log analysis.
    Collaborate with software developers, integration engineers, and testers.

 

  • Required Skills & Knowledge
    Programming: Basic Python, C, C++, and C#.
    Basic understanding of Linux and POSIX concepts.
    Knowledge of processes, threads, IPC, file systems, and networking fundamentals.
    Basic understanding of Embedded Systems and Automotive Software.
    Familiarity with Git and software development tools.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 

Who are you?

We are looking for a passionate engineering student who is eager to learn and contribute to next-generation Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) platforms.
You will work with modern automotive software technologies including Adaptive AUTOSAR, diagnostics, software deployment, service-oriented architectures, Linux/POSIX systems, and AI-assisted engineering solutions.
You enjoy hands-on experimentation, software development, troubleshooting, and continuous learning

 

Preferred Qualification
Pursuing BE/BTech/ Electronics, Electrical, AI/ML, Embedded Systems, or related disciplines.

Strong willingness to learn and experiment.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Curious, proactive, and self-driven mindset.
Passion for automotive software and emerging technologies.
