About NATS Apprenticeship Program:

National Apprenticeship Training Scheme, is a program where Volvo India engages freshly graduated individuals for year-long apprenticeships, providing them with practical training and skills development opportunities within the company’s various functions under Financial Services. it's a way for Volvo to train future workforce members through a structured apprenticeship program.

 

Qualification: Computer Science (CS) / Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AIML) / Information Science (IS)

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Data Analyst Intern to join our analytics team.
You will work closely with data professionals to collect, clean, analyze, and visualize business data that drives key decisions. This apprenticeship is ideal for students who enjoy working with numbers, uncovering trends, and turning data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

•    Extract, clean, and organize data from multiple sources using SQL, Excel, and Python (Pandas, NumPy).
•    Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, correlations, and key metrics.
•    Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI or Tableau.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and track KPIs and performance trends.
•    Support the creation of automated reports and help streamline data workflows.
•    Present analytical findings and recommendations through visual storytelling.

Required Skills & Qualifications

•    Basic proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation.
•    Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Excel).
•    Understanding of statistical concepts and analytical thinking.
•    Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
•    Good communication skills and curiosity to explore business data.

 

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
•    Experience with Excel Power Query or Power BI DAX.
•    Knowledge of forecasting models or basic ML concepts.
•    Exposure to ETL processes or cloud tools (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
