Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Power Management and Systems Lab Technician. This is an entry-level position ideal for recent graduates with a background in electrical or electronics engineering. You will support the development and testing of advanced automotive power management systems, including DC-DC converters, battery management units, and onboard charging systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with setup and execution of electrical tests on automotive power management components and subsystems.
- Operate lab instruments including multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads
- Support engineers in collecting, documenting, and analyzing test data for product validation and troubleshooting.
- Help build test fixtures, harnesses, and prototype assemblies based on wiring diagrams or schematics.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized lab environment in compliance with company and industry safety standards.
- Perform harness continuity checks, insulation resistance checks and pin -to -pin verification on custom breakout and CAN panels.
- Calibrate and maintain lab equipment under supervision.
- Follow periodic maintenance schedules
- Participate in team meetings and provide feedback on testing observations and outcomes.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Technical Skills:
- Good understanding of Electrical and Electronics systems
- Hands-on experience with electronic lab equipment (can be through academic labs or internships).
- Familiarity with circuit schematics and basic wiring practices.
- Interest in electric vehicles, hybrid systems, or automotive power electronics is a merit
Soft Skills:
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced development environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Ability to follow procedures and take initiative when troubleshooting
