What you will do
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, test, and maintain Python applications used for engine performance and diagnostics data analysis.
• Work with large-scale engine datasets to assess data quality, detect anomalies, and identify patterns.
• Implement data validation, cleaning, and transformation routines.
• Apply data science and machine learning techniques to extract insights and support decision-making.
• Create clear, reusable code with proper documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including domain experts and software engineers to refine requirements and implement solutions.
• Present findings through reports, dashboards, or visualizations.

Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Python, including libraries such as pandas, numpy, matplotlib, scikit-learn, etc.
- Familiarity with data analysis, statistics, and machine learning concepts.
- Basic understanding of version control systems like Git.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Knowledge of SQL or other data querying languages
Preferred Qualifications
• Exposure to domain knowledge in automotive systems or engine performance is a plus.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Plotly, Dash, or Streamlit.
• Familiarity with Jupyter Notebooks and REST APIs.
