WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

We are looking for a smart, agile, and highly driven graduate engineer who is eager to start their career in Customs & Trade through a classification -digital-first role. This position is ideal for someone who is street smart, analytical, fast-learning, and comfortable using technology to simplify work. 

You will support customs master data activities, classification support, reporting, and process improvement while helping the team accelerate automation, digitalization, and AI-enabled ways of working. The role builds on the team’s existing responsibility for classification accuracy, master data quality, origin/compliance support, broker coordination, and process improvement.

 

MISSION / PURPOSE OF THE JOB  

Support the Customs & Trade team in: 

  • ensuring accurate and timely customs master data support, including classification-related activities, database maintenance, and data quality follow-up 

  • analyzing high-volume data and identifying errors, trends, and improvement opportunities  

  • contributing to digitalization and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and control, which is already a stated need in the current role design  

  • assisting the team in compliance monitoring, broker support, and issue resolution across master data and customs processes  

Who You Are ?

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / automotive engineering preferred 

0–1 year experience; fresh graduates are welcome 

Street smart, practical, and quick to understand business problems 

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with data 

Highly comfortable with automation, Power BI, Excel, Microsoft tools, and AI productivity tools 

Curious, self-driven, and eager to improve processes rather than just follow them 

Good communicator and team player

MUST-HAVE SKILLS 

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills 

  • Ability to interpret engineering data and product information 

  • Good understanding of Power BI 

  • High comfort level with digital tools, reporting, and workflow automation 

  • Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot / ChatGPT-style productivity usage 

  • Good English communication skills, which is required in the original role because documentation is in English 

NICE TO HAVE

  • Exposure to Power Automate, scripting, or data transformation 

  • Internship/project exposure in automotive, mechanical, supply chain, manufacturing, customs, or compliance analytics 

  • Familiarity with engineering drawings / parts classification logic 

  • Early exposure to data visualization, dashboards, or process automation
