About the NATS Program:
This role is offered under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS), a flagship initiative of the Government of India designed to equip Indian youth with practical, trade-specific skills. Administered under the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961 (amended in 1973), this program at Volvo Group offers engineering graduates and diploma holders a structured, 1-year practical, hands-on On-the-Job Training (OJT) opportunity to build industry-ready capabilities.
What you will do
At Volvo Group, you will take your first steps into Talent Acquisition and contribute to building the teams that shape our future.
• You will learn the fundamentals of recruitment, from understanding job requirements to sourcing candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, and referrals.
• You will review resumes, conduct initial candidate calls, and coordinate interviews, always keeping communication clear and timely with both candidates and hiring teams.
• Beyond daily recruitment tasks, you will support talent acquisition initiatives, maintain accurate trackers and records, and provide regular updates on hiring progress.
This role gives you a real, end-to-end view of recruitment, and the chance to grow into a confident, capable Talent Acquisition Partner.

You will join our Talent Acquisition team in Bangalore, a group of experienced TA partners who value collaboration, curiosity, and continuous learning. We work closely together, share knowledge openly, and support each other through every hiring cycle, creating an environment where new ideas and questions are always welcome.
Who are you?
You are an undergraduate with a bachelor's degree in any discipline
• You bring excellent verbal and written communication skills, a confident and professional approach to conversations, and genuine interest in people and in Human Resources.
• You learn quickly, take feedback well, and stay organized even when juggling multiple priorities and deadlines.
• You are comfortable with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and you take ownership of your work with a proactive, can-do attitude.
• Experience with college events, student clubs, placement coordination, or internships in HR is welcome but not required; what matters most is your curiosity and your drive to learn.
