National Apprenticeship Training Scheme is one of the flagship programmes of Government of India for Skilling Indian Youth in Trade disciplines. The National Apprenticeship Training Scheme under the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961 amended in 1973; Volvo Group offers Graduate,a practical, hands-on On-the-Job-Training (OJT) based skilling opportunities with duration of 1 year.

How You Can Make a Difference
You can make a meaningful impact by contributing to the development and maintenance of robust backend applications using Core Java and Spring Boot. By applying strong analytical and debugging skills, you will help improve code quality, system reliability, and performance. Your understanding of databases and microservices architecture will support the creation of scalable and efficient solutions. Additionally, your proactive learning mindset and exposure to AI concepts such as RAG and NLP can bring innovative ideas to the team and enhance modern, data-driven development initiatives.
Who You Are
You are a motivated and enthusiastic learner with a solid foundation in software development and a strong interest in backend technologies and emerging AI solutions. You have knowledge of Core Java (OOP, collections, exception handling) and basic experience with Spring Boot and database integration (MySQL/PostgreSQL). You possess logical reasoning, problem-solving abilities, and an agile mindset. You are detail-oriented, eager to learn, and capable of collaborating effectively in a team-oriented and international work environment. A background in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field aligns well with your profile.
Key Responsibilities
Support the design and development of backend services using Core Java and Spring Boot.
Assist in database integration and data handling using MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Debug, test, and maintain code while following best practices for code quality and performance.
Contribute to microservices-based application development and understand system workflows.
Participate in documentation, technical analysis, and continuous improvement of development processes.
Collaborate with team members in agile environments and support ongoing technical initiatives.
Contribute to AI-related initiatives or projects involving RAG, NLP, or basic image processing when required.
