Role Purpose – who you will be ?
Head of Digital Factory leads the Digital Factory, a global Center of Excellence responsible for delivering high-impact digital solutions across Purchasing and Supply Chian Domains with full end-to-end accountability.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role that goes beyond traditional people management. The role is accountable for building and scaling the Digital Factory into a high-performance, rapid delivery engine, capable of addressing both urgent business needs and large, strategic global initiatives.
The role drives digital transformation globally for Purchasing by leveraging analytics, automation, low/no-code development, AI and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, enable data-driven decision-making, and accelerate innovation across the organization. Also Drive Digital Transformation for Purchasing at Site India level.
Acting as a critical connector across business, Digital Products, and IT, the role ensures seamless collaboration, strong alignment, and accelerated execution. In parallel, it defines the long-term vision, establishing scalable frameworks, operating models, and capabilities to evolve the Digital Factory from reactive delivery to a proactive, strategic value driver.
Success in this role requires a combination of deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, strong leadership, and hands-on delivery experience in building scalable digital solutions within a complex, global environment.

Direct Reports / Team: Digital Factory team including Data Scientist, Data Analysts, Solution Architect across Analytics, Automation, Smart Apps, AI and Emerging Technology
Reports to: Head of Digital Products in TTI Purchasing
Key Responsibilities - What you will do ?
Strategy, Leadership & Operating Model
- Define and execute the Digital Factory vision, roadmap, and operating model aligned with business and digital strategy.
- Build and lead a high-performing, cross-functional team, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Build a future-ready Digital Factory team by embedding a strong culture of continuous learning, upskilling, and adoption of emerging technologies and industry best practices.
- Establish robust governance frameworks for intake, prioritization, and execution of digital initiatives.
- Drive the evolution of the Digital Factory from reactive delivery to a structured, high-impact global capability.
End-to-End Delivery & Execution Excellence
- Own and oversee end-to-end delivery of digital solutions including dashboards, smart applications, automation, and AI-enabled use cases.
- Ensure delivery with speed, quality, scalability, and strong user adoption.
- Balance rapid prototyping and innovation with enterprise needs for stability, maintainability, and scalability.
- Drive disciplined execution through agile methodologies, planning cycles, and delivery governance.
Stakeholder Management & Global Collaboration
- Act as a trusted partner and key connector across business stakeholders, Digital Product Managers, SMEs, and IT teams.
- Translate Purchasing business needs into scalable, high-impact digital solutions.
- Drive alignment and manage expectations across global and regional stakeholders.
- Communicate progress, outcomes, and value realization effectively to purchasing senior leadership.
Data, Technology & Digital Enablement
- Champion data-driven decision-making by improving data availability, quality, and usability.
- Enable adoption of advanced analytics, automation, and AI solutions in collaboration with data and IT teams.
- Ensure all solutions adhere to enterprise standards for security, compliance, and governance.
- Guide the adoption of modern technologies and scalable digital architectures.
Performance & Value Realization
- Define and track KPIs across delivery, adoption, efficiency gains, and business impact.
- Ensure all initiatives deliver measurable and tangible business value.
- Drive continuous improvement through structured feedback loops and performance reviews.
- Establish the Digital Factory as a high-impact, outcome-driven capability within the organization.
Required Competence & Experience - Who you are ?
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related technical field.
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in digital, data, or technology domains, with a strong focus on digital delivery and building high-performing teams.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional digital or technology teams (including Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Solution Architects, and Engineers).
- Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end delivery of digital solutions/products, with clear accountability for business outcomes and value realization.
- Strong background in delivering enterprise-scale digital solutions in agile environments, balancing speed with scalability and quality.
- Hands-on experience in software development, data/analytics, automation, or digital platforms, with the ability to guide teams on architecture and technical decisions.
- Experience working in complex, global, matrix organizations, managing diverse stakeholders and distributed teams.
- Experience in building or scaling Digital Factories, Innovation Hubs, Centers of Excellence, or similar capabilities is highly preferred.
- Exposure to AI/ML, advanced analytics, or intelligent automation use cases in a business context is strongly preferred.
- Experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or Supply Chain domains is a strong advantage
Technical & Digital Skills
- Strong understanding of data platforms, analytics, and visualization tools.
- Experience with low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Power Platform) and automation tools (e.g., UiPath).
- Solid knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure preferred) and modern digital architectures.
- Good understanding of AI/ML concepts and their practical business applications.
- Ability to guide, challenge, and elevate technical design and architecture decisions.

- Proven ability to drive team upskilling and continuous learning, keeping pace with emerging technologies and industry trends.
