Job Summary
- Responsible for Leading activities under special projects focused towards VCE Strategic business needs and Operations development
- Responsible as Head of Maintenance (Plant and RE).
- Responsible for managing and guide on ESH initiatives/ compliances for the VCE Peenya
- Manage OMS and VGSSG requirements along with the ESH and Maintenance team.
- Responsible for leading and managing the functional activities, Cost Centers, projects and continuous improvement activities. Responsible for people development.
Job Content:
Main Tasks/ Responsibilities/Authorities:
- Ensure accomplishing the plant KPIs in Energy Efficiency, CO2 neutrality, SBTi
- Manage the activities of Maintenance System to meet the targets of spares Inventory, MTBF, MTTR, etc. Support in future technology implementation
- Support to manage AMCs, technical support, and people development in Maintenance
- Support ESH team in initiatives of Ergonomics, Safety improvements, etc
- Support to accomplish the shared responsibility of other KPIs at plant level
- Collaborate with other functions like RE, Technology, Purchasing, etc., on their projects related to plant
- Collaborate / Drive with Project Office(s) for development / industrialization of new products for Bangalore plant
- Drive / lead to industrialize Strategic Projects/ products in support of SnM and for VCE Operations Development
- Manage all activities as needed on ensuring sustenance of OMS(ISO activities of audits, MRM, etc) and VGSSG activities (audit/ resolutions; BCM)
- Develop and Coach team members including identifying training needs

Qualifications & Key Skills:
- Bachelor’s/ Post graduate degree in Engineering- Mechanical/ Industrial with thorough understanding in maintenance activities
- Good communication skills, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Fair exposure on manufacturing engineering activities, etc
- Preferred to be conversant with the local language in addition to English
- Good knowledge of lean management and 6 sigma.
