Who's your new team?

The Logistics International (LI) team is responsible for managing end-to-end logistics operations for Group Trucks Operations (GTO) International manufacturing (IM) plants, as well as external logistics operations across the international region (Asia, Australia and Africa). This includes developing supply chain networks, transport systems, and working closely with production and digitalization teams to drive continuous improvement and strategic alignment.

The Supply Chain Development team (SCD) within LI is leading and developing the E2E supply chain strategy for international manufacturing plants, optimizing network designs, and ensuring alignment with production and logistics goals.

We are working very closely with GTO International manufacturing (IM) to lead all logistics activities in product and industrial projects impacting the IM plants.

What’s your role in the team?

The Logistics Project Manager is responsible for developing logistics solutions for product and industrial projects that impact our IM (Industrial Manufacturing) Plants.
This role involves leading initiatives to improve logistics processes for both "Complete Knocked Down" (CKD) and “Complete Built Up” (CBU) plants.
You may also lead or support various IT projects aimed at enhancing our logistics flows. 

Your key responsibilities include:

•    Lead all Logistics activities related to the industrialization of a new or modified product impacting our IM plants by managing an E2E Logistics Project Team.
•    Build Logistics Project management structure and adjust it all along the project.
•    Understand, Evaluate and Predict End-to-End logistics impact and risks on material flows (both internal and external), packaging, equipment, systems, lead time.
•    Ensure development of concepts and solutions for special packaging, inbound and outbound delivery modes & internal flows
•    Coordinate the project and their interdependencies between the various product and industrial projects.
•    Lead logistics development projects and initiatives 
•    Develop and implement efficient logistics processes 
•    Provide specific support in internal logistics to IM factories.
•    Work closely with picking/packaging platforms.

This position is based in Hoskote, India and reports directly to the Head of Supply Chain development for Logistics International.

Who are you?

You have a deep understanding of the E2E supply chain.
You excel in a global environment, working with cross-functional teams across multiple regions and cultures, including Sweden, France, India, China, Australia, South Africa and South Korea.
We are looking for candidates with the following skills, knowledge, and experience:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
•    Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics engineering or project management within an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive sector.
•    Proficiency in project management; PMP certification is advantageous.
•    Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
•    Experience in risk and change management, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
•    Skills in priority setting, problem-solving, negotiation, planning, and proactivity.
•    Familiarity with Lean manufacturing concepts and experience in data handling and visualization.
