Job Description:
Volvo Group is looking for a “Manager- Finance Compliance” who will be responsible for Corporate financial controlling and financial compliance working with different business teams, corporate functions, projects and similar different other initiatives. This position will be based at Bangalore and will report to the Chief Financial Officer of Volvo Group India Pvt Ltd.
Key Deliverables:
- Corporate annual budget preparation, variance analysis and management reporting
- Monitor operational costs and improve efficiency
- Review and monitoring of corporate expenses
- Support strategic decision-making with financial details
- Liaison with government departments on various matters like incentive claims, etc
- Support different key projects
- Perform scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis as required
- Preparation of Board materials, Audit committee material
- Preparation of financial performance reports for Management / committees and other forums
- Preparation and management of Finance committee
- Preparation and follow up for ERM (Enterprise Risk Management)
- Preparation for Fraud Risk Assessments
- Supporting for Insurance – documentation, working with Group Insurance and local broker.
- Driving internal audits and follow up for action items till remediation process for entire organisation
- Driving remediation of Internal control observations for entire organisation
- Supporting medical insurance policy review along with HR and SD&I
- Coordination for CSR Trust related activities, review of various reporting of financial numbers to trustees, Board etc
- Coordination for other trusts like Gratuity, PF, Superannuation etc, working with auditors and finalise the financials
- Review and maintain internal financial controls
- Preparation and review of local authorisation directive
- Support any other corporate financial matters, provide financial details, review of the details, lead projects etc
Who you are:
- You are a Chartered Accountant with 8-10 years of work experience in finance and accounting function, finance controlling preferably in a multinational manufacturing organization.
- You have been a good team player and willing to collaborate and well engaged
- You have experience/participation in tax, compliance, audit matters etc.
- You have a good understanding of business operations, preferably manufacturing industry.
- You have demonstrated growth and learning mindset in yourself and supporting it in others
- You have demonstrated cross functional teamwork and collaboration approach.
- You have good communication skills and relationship management skills
