Responsibilities:
Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
Develop and test solutions using established SDLC methodology.
Work on multiple projects simultaneously successfully through planning and prioritization.
Prioritize and manage work assigned for projects and support.
Coordinate with Basis team to optimize custom programs and processes to improve system performance and prevent system interruptions.
Provide ABAP technical support for patch and release upgrades.
Researches and utilizes new programming techniques and methods where appropriate.
Identifies opportunities to re-engineer existing solutions to better utilize technology, optimize performance, and simplify support.
Stay current with technical products, practices and methodologies that are relevant for the applications being supported.
Execute testing methodologies of software implementations.

Requirements
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree
5+ years of experience in ABAP programming with development and support of business application systems including analysis, technical design, programming, and testing.
Two or more full project life cycle SAP implementations including blueprinting, configuration, testing, training and post implementation support.
Ability to quickly identify and analyse technical risks & impacts; define alternatives & prioritizations to remove technical roadblock.
Usage of ABAP on HANA techniques, including CDS Views and AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures).
Understanding and application of SAP Clean Core principles.
Must have expertise in interfaces using modern communication methods (e.g., OData, SOAP/REST APIs, RFCs).
Exposure to Restful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) and Application Interface Framework (AIF).
Exposure in Workflows
Experienced in all SAP Enhancement techniques (BADIs, User Exits, Enhancement points)
Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting.
Experience with programming in multiple modules of SAP is a must.
Knowledge of FIORI, UI5, HANA is preferred.
