Job - SAP Technology Consultant – Security & GRC

Are you passionate about SAP Security and ready to lead in a global enterprise environment? We are looking for a SAP Technology consultant to join the SAP department within the Volvo Group IT organization. As part of the SAP Center of Excellence (COE) – Central Security Team, you would be playing a key role in shaping and delivering security and authorization services across Volvo’s SAP landscape.

Your Role:

• Lead the design, implementation, governance and support of SAP Security solutions across multiple production systems in Volvo’s global SAP environment.
• Act as a subject matter expert and mentor within the Central Security Team, guiding team members and stakeholders.
• Take ownership of the SAP GRC platform, including Access Control and Process Control and Cloud Platform Security, driving enhancements and ensuring operational excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient SAP access aligned with global standards.
• Represent the SAP Security function during internal and external audits, ensuring evidence readiness, control adherence, and timely closure of findings.
• Participate in security automation initiatives, modern access management practices, and support the Volvo Group’s digital transformation journey.
• Contribute to the digital transformation journey of the Volvo Group by implementing modern security best practices and automation.

Experience level:

• 7+ years of experience managing SAP Security and Authorization

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day technical leadership for handling SAP ECC, S4, BW, GRC and cloud application issues.
• Working on SAP Security project and GRC roll outs as a key focal point.
• Provide support on Detailed Planning Blueprinting of Security Implementations.
• Demonstrate the ability to learn and implement security models in emerging SAP areas such as Cloud, BTP, IAS/IPS, and S/4HANA, IAG.
• Ability to assist team members in the development and implementation of technical solutions implementations upgrades and Migrations.
• Responsible for maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction in addition to growing and developing referenceable customers.
• Solving issues related to GRC Access and Process Control.
• Implementation of GRC Access/ Process control in business areas.
• Collaborate closely with the internal control teams, engaging with SAP teams and key members across business units to develop creative, scalable, and sustainable security solutions while ensuring audit compliance.
• Support of various security topics for external and internal audit.
• Track security and compliance related KPIs and metrics and assist with reporting on those metrics to senior management.
• Monitoring of Security Notes released by SAP.
• Responsible for maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge on SAP Security authorizations topics covering ECC, Fiori, HR, S4 Hana, cloud applications security.
• Experience in SAP S/4 Hana upgrade activities.
• Experience in SAP Security Role Redesign methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Security and authorization best practices.
• Experience in audit and internal controls.
• Experience in SAP GRC Access control .
• Experience in configuration of GRC Access Control modules (ARA, ARM, ARA & BRM)
• Experience in managing SAP SoD ruleset (Create, operate & maintain)
• Experience on Security activities for SAP system upgrade/transformation
• Experience in SAP Process control and Identity access governance Preferred.
• Good understanding and experience in Cloud Security.
• Knowledge of SAP New technologies and security roadmap .
• Basic knowledge of information security/cybersecurity concepts.
