What you will do
In this role as a Senior Data Scientist, you will contribute to our journey to evolve analytics in the logistics context and take responsibility for how we model and build decision intelligence into our supply chain. As we aim to involve the entire organization, you will be an ambassador of advanced analytics and help us become more data-driven in our decision-making.
You will be responsible for applying scientific mindset and engineering skills to analyze large volumes of complex data. Typical tasks include, but are not limited to, developing algorithms and services related to the analyzed data using Machine Learning, AI, Deep Learning, and Reinforcement Learning.
Who are you
We believe that you likely have a PhD in mathematics, computer science, statistics, physics, or a related field, and that you possess +5 years of experience working with advanced analytics, complex systems, and optimization using cloud-based technologies to manage the necessary data volume. We value creative problem-solvers who are passionate about their work. Ideally, you are a communicative person who values building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders and has the ability to explain complex topics in simple terms.
Being part of a technical transformation, your communication skills will be important, and we believe you are a person who feels for the communities you are in, listening closely to understand the stakeholder’s context. You can assume leadership when needed and want to be an integral part of a learning organization.
You are proficient in Python, accustomed to handling large amounts of data using frameworks such as Spark, and comfortable with both sci-kit learn and deep learning libraries like TensorFlow and PyTorch. It is also great if you have experience in LLMs and agentic AI frameworks.
If you happen to have experience in supply chain, either from a theoretical perspective or hands-on, we consider it a merit but not a requirement.
