Job Summary

 

The mission of this role is to develop offboard diagnostic data methods and operations, for a given vehicle/powertrain (incl.e-mobility) function to be integrated in aftermarket diagnostic tools and systems. In this role you will,

 

  • Develop test and calibration operations at both the vehicle and component levels, and lead the work as an Agile Product Owner to produce onboard diagnostics solutions
  • Create and maintain diagnostic operation specifications.
  • Secure and synchronize special tool needs related to methods/operations.
  • Support the development of new or changed functionality in diagnostic tools and systems related to diagnostic data.
  • Be a part of developing future diagnostic content technologies (e.g automated generated information).
  • Be a part of developing new data structure for future diagnostics content information.
  • Perform unit test of the implemented method/operation and report software and system bugs found.
  • Secure verification of the implemented method/operation.
  • Ensure that the methods/operations fulfill good design practice and service information warning guidelines.
  • Analyze test result and manage corrections of issues.

 

Accountabilities/Responsibilities

 

  • Quality assured diagnostics content released/available to our diagnostics service-based solutions.
  • Meet Quality KPI’s for the specific technical area and concerned products.
  • Secure the costumer perspective when releasing diagnostics content information in priority order.

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills

 

  • B. Tech/M. Tech, Electrical Engineer, Computer Science, Electronic Communication
  • Experience: Around 8-12 years of Experience in relevant area
  • UDS on CAN, Python, Canoe, Canalyzer, Dev Ops, Azure, Virtual methods, Extended Vehicle / Automotive knowledge, System architecture (Full system on/off board)
  • Experience on Grade-X platform for diagnostic authoring would be a value add
