Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Senior SAP MM/WM Consultant to lead and support SAP projects focused on Materials Management (MM) and Warehouse Management (WM). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP MM/WM modules, strong business process knowledge, and experience in full-cycle implementations and support engagements. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient SAP solutions

Key Responsibilities:
Lead SAP MM/WM implementations, upgrades, and support initiatives.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
Configure SAP MM (procurement, inventory management, invoice verification) and WM (warehouse structure, storage types, transfer orders).
Integrate MM/WM with other SAP modules such as SD, PP, and QM.
Develop functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements.
Conduct system testing, user training, and support go-live activities.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP MM/WM issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure successful project delivery.
Stay updated with SAP S/4HANA innovations and best practices in supply chain and warehouse management.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, IT, or related field.
Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MM and WM modules.
Experience in at least 2 full-cycle SAP implementations.
Strong understanding of procurement, inventory, and warehouse processes.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly preferred.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Skills:

Strong functional knowledge on the SAP ERP MM with GST, WM and overall SAP functional knowledge (integration with other components / modules) required (PP/FI/SD would be appreciated).
Working experience on scheduling agreements in SAP MM - Purchasing component and JIT
Working experience on Import Procurement, Inventory Management, Cross Dock processes.
Working experience on Logistics Execution (Shipping in particular) is desired.
Experience in IDoc error handling.
Good knowledge on logistics attributes in Material master and vendor master.
Good knowledge on EDI & Confirmations (ASNs in particular)
Experience on handling interfaces between SAP and non-SAP systems.
Able to analyze and solve day to day issues from business within agreed SLA.
Preferred knowledge on the automotive industry and After-market business processes.
Able to scope, script and execute interface tests
SAP certification in MM or WM.
Knowledge and Experience with SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) will be plus.
Familiarity with Fiori apps and SAP Activate methodology.
Knowledge of logistics and supply chain best practices.
Experience in Agile project environments.
