Your Future Team?

You’ll become part of a global, collaborative, cross-functional team consisting of System Design Engineers, Hardware and Software Component Owners, and Release Managers. With key teams based in Sweden, India, and Japan, we bring together diverse expertise to develop and deploy advanced embedded systems for commercial vehicles. We operate in an agile environment that encourages open communication, continuous learning.

What will you do?

As a System Design Engineer for ECUs and EUFs (End User Functionality), you will contribute in transforming our strategic alliance into a long-term, collaborative partnership that drives both business success and societal impact. You will accelerate the development and deployment of shared innovations, contributing to the creation of highly reliable, affordable embedded technologies, below are key responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Vehicle Architect to steer exploration of alternatives to establish a system/Truck level concept.
  • Main interface to Alliance Pre-study leader and Vehicle Technology KAM
  • Mapping work scope to appropriate Vehicle Technology stream
  • Support role to VT Solution Mgr. for all Alliance Initiatives
  • Perform System FMEA/HARA/TARA/FuSA for different Vehicle modes, across various nodes.
  • Investigating system level or truck level issues and providing right solutions.
  • Interacting with the Component Owner’s (CO) and Function Owner (FO) & SW developers
  • Understanding the EUF’s impacted and have an agreement on the time-plan for specifications activity
  • Documenting Logical design & related signals and requirements in system engineering tool 
  • Documenting Application Network requirements in system engineering tool

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering with 8 to 10 years of Experience
  • Good understanding of automotive electrical systems and architecture
  • Hands-on knowledge of CAN, LIN, DOIP, J1939, UDS protocols
  • Hands-on Experience working with Requirement Engineering tools like System Weaver
  • Hands-on experience in Function development in the field of System Engineering on automotive domain. 
  • Knowledge on block schematic or similar topology, which shows, overall power distribution and Grounding topology on vehicle level
  • Knowledge on Designing of system concept in visio or any drawing tool
  • Knowledge on current & upcoming vehicle regulations and emission norms. 
  • Knowledge on Cybersecurity , Functional Safety (ISO26262).
  • Good Team player and cross functional work abilities
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal) in English is Mandatory
  • Ability to Identify, create & maintain Roadmap for Electronic Architecture Topology
