Role Summary
The SAP Credit Management Functional Expert provides functional expertise in SAP FSCM Credit Management (Financial Supply Chain Management). They design, configure, and optimize credit risk processes, ensuring smooth integration with Finance (FI), Sales & Distribution (SD), and other modules. This role bridges business requirements and system capabilities, enabling organizations to manage customer credit exposure effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- System Implementation & Configuration
- Configure SAP FSCM Credit Management, including credit rules, scoring models, risk categories, and credit limits.
- Integrate Credit Management with FI-AR (Accounts Receivable) and SD (Sales Order Management).
- Support migration projects (ECC to S/4HANA Credit Management).
- Process Management
- Design and implement credit policies and workflows (e.g., order blocks, credit limit checks, dunning).
- Monitor customer payment behavior and update credit exposure reports.
- Automate repetitive tasks such as rebuilding credit exposure and performing daily credit rechecks.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work with Finance, Sales, and Risk teams to align credit policies with business objectives.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users on SAP Credit Management processes.
- Act as liaison between business and IT teams for enhancements and issue resolution.
- Support & Continuous Improvement
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues in SAP FSCM Credit Management.
- Conduct functional and integration testing.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process efficiency.
- Document configurations, customizations, and process flows.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of SAP FSCM Credit Management and integration with FI, SD, and Treasury.
- Minimum 3–7 years of experience in SAP S/4HANA Credit/Collection/Dispute Management.
- At least 2 end-to-end implementation projects in Credit Management.
- Understanding credit risk assessment, scoring models, and exposure management.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or IT-related fields (CA, MBA Finance, ICWA, M.Com preferred).
