Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Leader to manage Network Security Services, delivered by a service provider as a fully managed service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the relationship with the service provider, ensuring the highest level of security and compliance across our network infrastructure. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of network security technologies and best practices from a Policies and Governance perspective

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the relationship with the network security service provider, ensuring that all service level agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics are met.
  • Oversee the implementation and enforcement of needed Network Security Controls in network security solutions provided by the service provider, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and other security technologies.
  • Ensure that the service provider adheres to the organization's network security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Support other Service Leaders in Network Security Services to implement the right security controls in compliance with Security Directives in both IT and OT environments.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits in collaboration with the service provider and other Service Leaders to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams and business units to ensure seamless integration of network security solutions and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest network security trends, threats, and standards, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Manage the escalation process for network security incidents, working closely with the service provider to ensure timely resolution.
  • Oversee and manage the Perimeter Protection Management Function and support the Service Provider with Exception Requests
  • Ensure Exception Management process is followed and Exceptions are managed in the right way with automation as much as possible.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on network security status, incidents, and performance metrics to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in network security, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of network security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and encryption protocols.
  • Experience with network security assessment tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCNP Security are highly desirable.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in managing Security Policies and Governance in large Enterprises.
  • Good Knowledge of Infrastructure components used to enforce security controls including in the Cloud.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR and associated audits.
  • Experience of working in Enterprise IT Security with a background in IT Infrastructure.
  • Good fluency in English and ability to work in a multicultural global team.
