Job Description
Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role:
•Performing technical analysis of business requirements
•Design, develop, and implement automated workflows using UiPath.
•Design and build automation workflows in Studio that use Document Understanding to extract, classify, validate document data
•Work with the AI Center / ML model training: assist / trigger retraining of models, provide data / feedback for improving accuracy.
•Use Action Center in UiPath for human-in-the-loop tasks (validations, corrections).
•Ensure the solution is stable, performant: manage queues, logging, monitoring, error reporting.
•Collaborate with functional leads and process owners to understand process requirements and translate them into automated solutions.
•Recommend and implement best practices in RPA to optimize process efficiency.
•Conduct testing and debugging of automated processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.
•Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to UiPath development standards.
•Deploy RPA solutions in production environments.
•Create and maintain documentation for automated processes, including process design documents (PDD), solution design documents (SDD), and test cases.
•Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business units, to ensure successful project delivery.
•Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any concerns.
Technical Skills and Expertise:
•Expertise in designing complex workflows, including sequences, flowcharts, and state machines.
•Designing the overall architecture: how DU, AI agents, RPA bots, Action Center, Orchestrator, AI Center fit together.
•Proficient in managing Orchestrator, including scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting bots.
•Skilled in automating interactions with various user interfaces, including desktop applications, web browsers, and virtual environments.
•Proficiency in scripting languages like VB.NET, C#, or Python for advanced automation scenarios.
•Experience in integrating UiPath with REST and SOAP APIs to automate processes that involve web services.
•Advanced skills in automating Excel operations, including data extraction, manipulation, and report generation.
•Experience in connecting UiPath with SQL databases for data retrieval, updates, and complex queries.
•Expertise in implementing error handling and exception management mechanisms within workflows.
•Knowledge of designing retry logic and recovery sequences to ensure bot resilience and reliability.
•Proficient in using Git, TFS, or other version control systems to manage code and collaborate.
•Skilled in using Document Understanding and integrating with third-party OCR tools.
•Experience in optimizing bot performance, reducing execution time and improving resource utilization.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
•4-7 years of hands-on experience in UiPath RPA development.
•Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
•Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
