Role description
We perceive that in the role of Solution Consultant, you will work with SAP Digital Manufacturing (SAP DM), helping our manufacturing sites turn business needs into reliable IT solutions. The requirements might need support from the development team of our IT-solutions or be hands-on configuration changes in the setup of the IT-solutions. You will be part of the Stable Team that have the End to end(E2E) responsibility. Which means that we are involved from early stage to maintenance This is a broad role with a high degree of ownership. You will have the opportunity to shape the role around your strengths while developing deep expertise in SAP DM, manufacturing IT and our global solutions. You will work in a global environment together with colleagues, stakeholders and manufacturing sites across Volvo. Your solutions will directly support production critical IT systems used in our factories.
We are in a transformation towards a more agile, product-focused way of working, where the goal is to work with shortened time to market for our applications.

Your focus will be to:
- Understand customer needs, in close cooperation with them
- Design and configure Production Process Designs (PPD) and Production Operator Dashboards (POD) in SAP Digital Manufacturing.
- Become an expert in our IT-applications and how they operate in factories
- Support roll-out, upgrade activities and SAP DM quarterly releases
- Support our factories with IT-specific knowledge
- Work actively with maintenance and improvements
- Be part of On-call

Required
- Experience with SAP DM implementation/configuration
- Experience with SAP integrations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent English in both spoken and in writing
Nice to have
- Experience from the automotive industry
- Experience working in an agile/product-oriented environment
- Experience with manufacturing IT
